October Client of the Month – Katrina

October’s Client of the Month is deservedly awarded to Katrina Morrison 👏👏🎯

Katrina joined our studio in January and throughly immersed herself into her training programme.

She has a very busy and demanding job but wanted to make exercise an important part of her weekly routine​​

She attends the studio 3 times a week and puts in 200% effort every time, and over the last 9 months she has only missed an incredible 5 sessions – very impressive!

Her most recent ​​achievement was going from 50kg to hitting a PB of deadlifting 70kg!!!


1. Why did you decide to join the BB studios

Before joining BB studios I had just completed the couch to 5k app and had lost 1.5st, through healthy eating and running. I don’t love running but I wanted to keep up the exercise as I was enjoying the results. I’ve never felt confident going to a gym and after meeting with Ashley BB felt like the right place for me.

2. How did you feel before starting and how do you feel now?

I felt quite nervous about starting, the unknown, was I going to be as fit as everyone else, would I be able to keep up etc, I wasn’t the most confident when it came to exercise and had never used weights or KB. 8 months in and I absolutely love it, I feel the best I have felt in years and for the first time I can say I enjoy exercising.

3. How do you find the sessions and the community?

I love the sessions, they’re so varied and the trainers and members always make it so much fun. I never feel judged, always encouraged.

4. What’s results have you achieved so far?

I have lost a further 9lbs, and dropped a dress size. I have lost cms from my waist/shoulders etc. My strength has really really improved and for the first time ever I can actually feel some muscle definition.

5. What are your goals going forward?

I would like to continue to improve my strength and tone and condition my body. I would also like to lose another stone but at the same time I don’t want to become too obsessed with the scales as I’m very aware muscles weighs more than fat. I just want to continue to see positive results.

6. What would you say to someone thinking joining?

100% do it, you’ll never look back. If someone like me who used to dread exercise and would join a gym and never go can do it, then anyone can. It’s a great confidence booster and a warm and fun environment.
